Queens! The destiny of dance to release on 29 April, 2011

MUMBAI: Queens! The destiny of dance will hit theatres on 29 April, 2011.
 
The film, produced by Vipul Bangera and directed by David Atkins, stars Seema Biswas, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Vineeth.
 
Queens! The destiny of dance, portrays eunuchs in a different yet a realistic approach. The movie briefly narrates the issues that a eunuch goes through in India. The film has real life eunuchs enacting in the film. It talks about the vulnerability and the stigma a eunuch faces in life.
 
The story is told through the eyes of a young eunuch called Mukta whom all the other ‘girls’ look up to, and potentially the next Amma of the community. That is….until the entry of a total stranger into their midst – a young 16-year old whom Amma names Nandini. Right from the outset Nandini is an enigma and a mystery. However, with Nandini’s coming, things start going drastically wrong in the community, which ultimately compels Mukta to pursue the truth. And this is when worse events begin to unfold, which swiftly move upwards to a tense-ridden and shocking climax where the price that Mukta must pay is both exacting and terrifying!
