MUMBAI: Aamir Khan has Christmas, Salman Khan has Eid and Shah Rukh Khan fancies Diwali. Now Tamil-Hindi actor R. Madhavan has discovered his own lucky spot of the year to release his films.

In 2011 Tanu Weds Manu wes released during the last week of February. Madhavan’s new Hindi film Jodi Breakers releases during the same week.

Says  Maddy, "I swear it wasn’t planned. It’s an uncanny coincidence. My last Hindi film Tanu Weds Manu came on Feb 25. Jodi Breakers comes on Feb 24."

Now Maddy will plan a release accordingly. "There’s definitely something there. If Jodi Breakers clicks then I’d take the release coincidence to be a sign from God."

Madhavan has just five more days of shooting for Jodi Breakers.

Madhavan is getting ready for the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu where the story will begin 5 years after the first part ended. Maddy needs to fatten up and look prosperously 45 for the part.

"It’s a constant onslaught on my metabolism. I am constantly losing and putting on weight. I’ve to look flabby to play the mathematician Ramanujan.

This is one reason Madhavan said no Shankar’s Nanban, the Tamil version of Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots where he was asked to play the same role that he played in Hindi.

Madhavan passed, as he had to lose weight and look younger.

Says Maddy, "My body can take this much, no more."
