MUMBAI: We’ve all heard of people using soft music or spiritual songs as their alarm tones but you will be astounded to know that Emraan Hashmi prefers to wake up every morning to the spooky music from his upcoming movie Raaz – The Mystery Continues. Bizarre but true!
Not only Hashmi, even the director of the film Mohit Suri does the same. On being asked for a reason, Hashmi exclaimed, "I really create a fuss when I have to wake up in the morning. It’s really difficult to wake me up but ever since the time I put the title theme of the film ‘Kaisa Yeh Raaz’ as my alarm tone, I wake up instantly! The title track is so haunting that you cannot help but wake up. That’s the reason that Mohit and I have put this track as our alarm tone so that there’s no room laziness."
"RTMC is a scary movie, which sends a chill down your spine starting with the title track itself. So you can very well imagine your condition after watching the whole movie!" laughs Suri.
"The theme of this film is completely different from the other horror flicks," claims Hashmi. He says "Every one has a darker side. Just like the two sides of a coin, everybody has God as well as Devil in their heart. They manifest depending on the situation." Wouldn’t we all like to see the godly side of him now that we’ve seen enough of the devil, going around kissing all the PYTs of Bollywood?
The film revolves around a successful model, Nandita (Kangana Ranaut), who is in love with the creative director of a television program, Yash (Adhyayan Suman). Raaz – The Mystery Continues is to hit theatres worldwide on 23 January 2009.
