Radio City launches web portal

MUMBAI: The ‘Whatte Fun’ theme that FM radio station Radio City has launched, has now found its way to the World Wide Web.

The station recently launched www.whattefun.com, a microsite designed specially for the station’s Whatte Fun outlook.

The microsite features a variety of material that has been built around the Whatte fun video such as a madcap Music Quiz, Video Jigsaw as well as desktop downloads, character profiles from the video and forums around Whatte Fun. In keeping with the ‘Fun ki nayi bhasha’ campaign, the microsite also features a series of applications that have been designed to give listeners an online gateway to participate in Radio City’s new endeavour to twist language by the tail.

Speaking on the initiative, Radio City National Head – Marketing Rana Barua says, “Our new microsite allows listeners to experience this fresh vibrance as well as contribute to the station’s ‘Fun ki nayi bhasha’. It is yet another initiative to reach out and be part of our listener’s lives and we have many such exciting plans in the offing.”
