MUMBAI: Reliance Home Video  has released Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey on DVD and VCD.

Based on the book   Do And Die   by Manini Chatterjee, the film stars Abhishek Bachchan and  Deepika Padukone.The film is set in 1930 British India.  Surjya Sen (Bachchan) is a school teacher in Chittagong who leads a team comprising 56 young boys, 5 defiant revolutionaries and 2 determined young women against the British Empire in Chittagong.

Reliance Home Video chief operating officer Sweta Agnihotri said, “ Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a superb patriotic film by Ashutosh Gowariker, with commendable performances from its entire cast. It’s a perfect tribute to the unsung heroes of the Chittagong Uprising of 1930.”
