Mumbai: Many a Bollywood actors are now crossing over to Hollywood. The latest ones to join the gang are Suniel Shetty and Rishi Kapoor.
Both
Kapoor and Shetty have just finished shooting for the British Asian comedy Don’t Stop Dreaming. Actors from the UK including Laila Rouass, Richard Blackwood and Michelle Collins also feature in the film. The film also stars pop sensation Taz from Stereo Nation.
Produced by British businessman Munir Ahmed, the film is directed by actor Shammi Kapoor’s Aditya Raj Kapoor. Back in Bollywood, Rishi Kapoor this year had two releases namely Love Ke Chakkar Mein and Fanaa. His other film, Namaste London directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, is under production. Rumours are rife that Jason Connery (son of Sean Connery) will play one of the lead while Katrina Kaif will be paired opposite him in Namaste London.
Suniel Shetty is known to be an enterprising actor seeking contentment. “Hollywood or Bollywood, it is the satisfaction of acting and the role that excites me. I’m concentrating on doing good quality work,” he says. On
his latest release Aap Ki Khatir being a failure at the box-office, Shetty says, “I’m a character in the film. It is a well-made film.”
Suniel has two films in hand Fool and Final and Ram Gopal Varma’s Sholay where he plays the character of Sambha.
