Rocky S partners with textile company Hakoba

MUMBAI: Hakoba Lifestyle Limited has tied-up with designer Rocky S for the company’s club line called, Rocky S Club.


 


With a retail presence in India with 67 exclusive outlets occupying app. 52,000 sq ft of retail space, Hakoba Lifestyle Ltd., a 44 crore company is an Indian brand in the embroidered fabric segment.


 


Hakoba Lifestyle Limited, CEO, Madhup Dokania said, “Hakoba’s key focus has always been women’s wear in the apparel market; however we now plan to expand the business by venturing into new product segments under different brand names targeting the lower, medium and higher segments of the society. We’re now venturing into a new segment called as Club and Fashion and have tied up with renowned designer Rocky S for the Hakoba Club line called, Rocky S Club.”


 


Apart from the tie-up, Hakoba Lifestyle Ltd. plans to invest 250 – 260 crores in various segments like home furnishing, lingerie, value retail and designer associations by the next financial year. The company also plans to open another 35 exclusive Hakoba retail outlets. Initially the company is looking at opening 400 small stores of average 1,000 sq ft by 2011, while about 80 medium – size outlets. In the second phase Hakoba will also come up with 30 large format stores of 40,000 – 60,000 sq. ft module by 2009. The company targets turnover of nearly Rs. 210 crore by FY09.
