Rohit Roy to direct Kaante sequel for White Feather Films

Mumbai: Actor turned director Rohit Roy is getting ready with his film for White Feather Films and it’s none other than a sequel to Sanjay Gupta’s Kaante.

Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Roy said, "I am happy but there is also a lot of pressure to direct such a big project."

White Feather Films managing director Sanjay Gupta directed Kaante. The film, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kumar Gaurav, Lucky Ali and Sunil Shetty, was a hit.

Roy discloses, "Don’t look at Kaante as a sequel to the earlier Kaante. It’s an independent film. We have a brand new storyline and a fresh cast. The only thing common is that both films will have a master plan."
