MUMBAI: Rohit Shetty has been signed on to direct Kumar Mangat’s next film, titled Sunday.
Mangat has just completed No Smoking, and is planning to launch two new films, one of which will feature Mangat’s daughter in the lead. Both films are reportedly backed by Eros International.
Says Mangat, “Rohit Shetty will direct Sunday, which is a big budget movie. Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi and Irrfan Khan play key roles. The other details are being finalised.”
Shetty had earlier directed Ajay Devgan in Zameen in 2003. Last year, he directed a film Golmaal-Fun Unlimited, for Shree Ashtavinayak.
