MUMBAI: Three years after the couple tied the knot, romance is still blossoming for Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The couple flew to the Big Apple, to spend some quality time together, as both have been tied up with their various film shoot commitments.
Abhishek finished a long schedule of Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum, which was being filmed in Goa. Prior to that, the Junior B was in Mumbai shooting for his television show, Bingo, on Colors. He had also traveled to several small cities like Baroda and Lucknow to promote the show.
On the other hand, Ash has been busy putting the finishing touches to her film with Vipul Shah, Action Replay. Sources say that Vipul, included an additional song and Ash had to spare a few days for it. But after all their work commitments, the actors eventually made time and took off for their four-day vacation.
For the music release of their third film together, the couple flew into Mumbai in the wee hours of the morning of the 24 April. While Abhishek performed to one of the songs of Raavan, Ash was content to play hostess. And unmindful of the media, the couple kept finding time to chat up with each other, and not always on the stage.
On one such occasion, when we caught yet another whispered murmuring between the two, Ash confessed, "I have been under the weather and Abhi was just inquiring if I am feeling better. He is such a worry wart, but it’s so sweet."
The lovebirds once again went their separate ways to promote their latest film, but the twinkle in both their eyes certainly suggested of a lot of romance between the couple. Businessofcinema.com wishes the couple belated wishes for their wedding anniversary.
