MUMBAI: A major fire ruined the sets of producer Feroz Nadiadwala’s Fool And Final at set no 6 at Filmistan Studios, Goregaon. The damage is estimated around 10 million (1 crore). The fire occurred due short circuit and entire set was turned into ashes. The shooting was to commence from tomorrow where the entire star cast was going to participate.
“The entire set has turned into ashes, even the walls are not to be seen. Filmistan Studios’s set no 6 is fully destroyed and I think henceforth there will be no shooting done at this studio. I think the damages estimated will be around 10 million (1 crore). We will now shoot at Filmalaya Studios. The shooting which was to start tomorrow will now start after three days,” says Ahmed Khan the director of the film.
A big budget film with a mammoth star cast is directed by choreographer Ahmed Khan and stars Sunny Deol, Viveik Anand Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Bipasha Basu, Ayesha Takia and Arbaaz Khan along with the comic brigade of Javed Jaffrey, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz and Razzak Khan.
Fool And Final is made under the banner of Base Industries Group. Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music; Neeraj Vora (director of Phir Hera Pheri) has penned the screenplay while Anurag Kashyap (director of Black Friday) has written the dialogues.
