MUMBAI: The NDTV Profit Car & Bike Awards 2009 function in Mumbai witnessed a win for Chevrolet brand ambassador and Bollywood star, Saif Ali Khan as he bagged the ‘Brand ambassador of the Year’ conferred by NDTV Profit Car & Bike Awards 2009.
Khan ‘s association with General Motors’ flagship brand Chevrolet kicked off in late 2005 with the launch of the Chevrolet Aveo. Ever since, he has been an integral part of all brand communication / campaigns on the Chevrolet Aveo & U-VA range of cars.
Khan said, “My association with Chevrolet goes back many years to when my mother during her cinema career would travel in a Chevy Impala. I feel privileged to be associated with a truly iconic automobile brand worldwide, Chevrolet, and look forward to an exciting role ahead and strengthening my relationship with the brand.”
