Salman Khan does his own stunts for Wanted

MUMBAI: The unpredictable Salman Khan not only has a softer side to him but he’s also one tough guy.

For his forthcoming film Wanted, Khan has performed all the stunts in the film himself. The film, which is a remake of the Tamil film Pokkiri, is an action film. Khan has almost seven action sequences in the film and he has done all the action himself.

Producer Boney Kapoor says, "This film could not have been done by anyone else but Salman. Action is the highlight in this film and we have shot the film for about 200 odd days out of which Salman has shot with us for around 130 days and out of these 130 days we have shot 90 days for the seven action sequences with him. None of the shot has been done by a duplicate all the shots have been done by Salman."

In the film, Khan plays the character called Radhe who is a gangster and a sharpshooter. The film also stars Ayesha Takia, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar and Prakash Raj.

The film is slated to release on 18 September, 2009.
