"I’ve already spoken to Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Shakti Kapoor and they said they’ll be glad to work it out. I’ll need them only later this August-September and I’m sure of them agreeing to dub for their characters," said Jain to the press.
The film took almost a year to script and translate into 3D animation. It has a budget of 15 crore, which includes print and advertising. Original tracks will be modified with contemporary sound.
Now, waiting only for Aamir Khan’s confirmation, Jain is optimistic that he will be able to actualize the film soon. "The only person I’ll have to try harder for is Aamir, if he likes it, I’m sure he will (agree to do it). I’ll be finalizing things in another month or two. I will be in a better position to talk about it then," he said.
Looking to release in the first half of 2013, Jain accepts, "We know that people will be coming in expecting the humour at par with the original."
