MUMBAI: After the unpleasant spat between film-maker Ram Gopal Varma and Sanjay Dutt regarding the failure of ‘Department’ at the box-office, Dutt ousted manager Dharam Oberoi from his production company, as he was ‘found to be the cause of the problem’.
Post the patch up, initiated by choreographer Ahmed Khan, Sanjay made his wife Manyata the CEO of his production house.
He, however, allowed Dharam to remain his manager and look after the business interests. But soon he realised that he was better off without him completely.
