MUMBAI: Santosh Sivan’s Tahaan, which has done the rounds of at least 18 film festivals, will now be premiered in Germany.
The film is set to have its German premiere in the Children’s Section of the Munich International Film Festival, which will take place next month.
Tahaan is the story of an eight year old boy, who undertakes a perilous journey to be once again united with his donkey Birbal who he considers his best friend.
This film has participated in the Children’s section of several film festivals across the world including The Rome International Film Festival, The Seattle International Film Festival, The Pusan International Film Festival and the Hong Kong International Film Festival to name a few.
Tahaan stars Anupam Kher, Sarika, Rahul Bose, Rahul Khanna and Victor Banerjee. The film has been produced by IDream Production and Santosh Sivan Films.
