Sequel to Tauba Tauba releases 4 January

MUMBAI: Bollywood has been deluged with remakes and sequels in the recent past. The success of Phir Hera Pheri and Dhoom II proves that sequels are here to stay. To carry forward this trend, a sequel to the film Tauba Tauba, titled Phir Tauba Tauba is being release on 4 January, 2008.

While director T.L.V. Prasadh has directed the original as well as the sequel, actress Sadhika has replaced Payal Rohtagi in Phir Tauba Tauba.

Prasadh says, “The film has three 16 to 17 year old boys who are infatuated by a 30-year-old girl who is married. This girl uses them for her benefit. This film has both comedy and suspense.”

Shot in London, Phir Tauba Tauba has been produced under the banner of Pushpa Movies. The film also stars Rahul Roy, Hitesh Kriplani, Amin Gazi, Sumit Aurora, Swati Das Gupta, Priyanka Mohitra, Kinjal, Bobby Darling and Monalisa. The music of the film is by Arun Daga, cinematography by Akram Khan and story and screenplay by Anoop Shrivastva.
