What is surprising though is that the film is also available on YouTube.com which has over a billion users and is the most popular site in the world for videos.
The makers Eros International and SRK’s Red Chillies both are partners with YouTube where they can effectively bring down the pirated videos. This besides the fact that there has been a huge marketing & promotional deal with RA.One and Youtube.
Piracy is rampant and cuts away a lot of the revenues for the producers, which is why serious & dedicated attention needs to be paid at the time of release for controlling piracy. We hope producers pay more attention and atleast utilize the tools thats are available.
