MUMBAI: As the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament gets going in South Africa today, the tournament has announced a Miss Bollywood SA competition.
IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi made the announcement along with Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty.
The competition will be looking for one South African IPL fan with star quality. At the 56 league games, one girl from the crowd will be named a winner at each of the games. One finalist from each venue will be chosen, leaving eight winners in the final round to be held on May 24 during the final.
The winner is slated to win a chance to star in a Hindi movie along with a cash prize of 50,000 Rand in cash, a trip to India amongst others.
