Mumbai: Ashutosh Gowariker is ready with his next script titled What’s Your Raashee?, based on a novel called Kimball Ravenswood by Madhu Rye.
This announcement comes with Jodhaa Akbar’s 100 days in theatres. The film is slated to go on floors in November 2008 in Mumbai.
What’s Your Raashee? will be a romantic comedy that will have Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
Gowariker said, "It is a genre that I have always loved, my most favorite ones being Roman Holiday, When Harry Met Sally, all of Frank Capra, amongst several others. I am also a great fan of Chupke Chupke and all the romantic comedies of Hrishikesh Mukherji and Basu Chatterji. It is a genre that I had always wanted to attempt and now I have got the opportunity to do so through What’s Your Raashee? Rest of the cast and crew is being finalized."
The film is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and will be jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sunita A.Gowariker
