MUMBAI: The Shahid Kapur starrer Mausam, which is being directed by his father – veteran actor Pankaj Kapur – will be shot in Edinburgh.
The movie stars Sonam Kapoor opposite Shahid.
A source close to the development tells Businessofcinema.com that the first shooting schedule will be two months long at Edinburgh, after which the film will be shot in Punjab and Mumbai. Shahid plays the role of an air force pilot in the film, which is slated to go on floor by end May, 2010.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Shahid says, "I am really looking forward to working in my dad’s film. I play the role of an air force pilot in the film."
Besides looking forward to working on Mausam, Shahid is also looking forward to his next release – Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming film Badmaash Company, directed by Parmeet Sethi. The film hits the theaters on 7 May, 2010.
