Shahrukh Khan does voice over for Kismat Konnection

Mumbai: Aziz Mirza wanted Shahrukh Khan to do the voiceover for Tips Films’ Kismat Konnection. Khan, who had just returned from the UK, not only instantly met the director but also completed the dubbing in a matter of a few hours.

"Khan is amazingly energetic," said Mirza. "He had just returned from London. Any actor in his place would have made an excuse of jetlag and said, ‘I want to go home’. But not Khan! His car took the road that led to the dubbing studio. That too at 1.30 in the night. He saw to it that he completes the voice over for my film that very night."

Interestingly, Juhi was to do the voice over initially. Mirza said, "Juhi plays a crystal ball reader in my film and since her character talks about life and relationships I thought she was apt to do the voiceover for the film. But she felt that the content of my film was too strong and a female’s voice in the background would not be able to do justice to it."

Mirza said that with Khan now having lent his voice to the film, the circle was complete. "I am glad that he is a part of my film. I can always depend on him. When I told him about the voice over he immediately agreed. He did not question me even once about it."
