MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has acquired the entire audio catalogue of Pen India to leverage it across all platforms including new media.
The deal offers Shemaroo the perpetual rights for major part of Pen’s catalog. Pen’s library of Bollywood music, which includes more than 1000 songs will be exploited on various digital platforms including mobile and internet along with traditional mediums like physical, performance rights, radio etc.
The library includes the work from the established music directors like Jatin Lalit, Anu Malik, Sameer Sen and Anand Raj Anand among others. The music of films like Chachi 420, Raja Ki Aaygi Baarat, Aakrosh and Aa Gale Lag Jaa also form the part of the catalog.
