Shemaroo Video (P) Ltd today released Comedy King Jaswinder Bhalla’s album Chhankata 2006-Kadh’Tiyan Kasraan on audio cassettes and CDs. The album starring trio of Jaswinder Bhalla, Mr.Bal Mukand Sharma and Ms Neelu, is the Silver Jubilee edition of the Chhankata Series which is popular for its hilarious comedy on politics, social problems, corruption, etc.
Besides the regular thrill-full and meaningful comedy, non-stop satires, jokes and wits; the Silver Jubilee Edition has guest performances from Punjabi Singers like Sardool Sikander, Surinder Chinda,Balkar Sidhu, Sukhwinder Sukhi and Hardev Mahi Nangal who have sung to add special flavour to the album. Also issues like Rakhi Sawant- Mika controversy and molestation of girl students by Punjab Police are among the current topics covered in the comedy show album.

Jaswinder Bhalla (Chacha Chatur Singh), born on 4th, May in Ludhiana in Punjab, started his entertainment career with CHHANKATA 88 in 1988. He has given 21 Punjabi Comedy albums and is famous as a King of Punjabi Comedy in Punjab as well as across India. He has also acted in many comedy serials on various channels and performed at several stage shows abroad.
