Shringar unveils first food court in Surat

MUMBAI: Big Pictures Hospitality Services, the wholly owned subsidiary of Shringar Cinemas, has commenced operations at its first Food Court from 24 September, 2006. The multi-cuisine food court that goes by the name of Via 1, Food Street, is spread over 7000 sq ft and is located at the Raj Empire mall at Surat. The mall also houses Fame Raj Empire multiplex, also owned by the Shringar Group.


 


“Food and films are an integral part of our culture in India and I am delighted that Shringar Cinemas, after having set standards in cinema viewing, is now being able to look into the food business as well. With Via 1 Food Street, we hope to bring a world class food court to the people of Surat and subsequently make our presence felt in other major cities in the country as well,” said Shringar Cinemas managing director Shravan Shroff.


 


Shringar Cinemas Ltd is also looking at opening their next food court in Chandigarh later this year.
