MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Releasing of India’s marketing head Harshavardhan Gangurde has put in his papers.
Gangurde will be joining Inox Leisure Ltd. as vice president marketing from 2 January.
Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com, Gangurde says, “Yes, I am joining Inox. I will be handling brand marketing for Inox and associated properties.”
However, he did not wish to comment on any particular reason for leaving Sony Pictures.
Gangurde has worked with Sony Pictures for 11 years where he headed marketing activities for the company’s films.
Shrikant Hazare was earlier the vice president marketing at Inox. Since his resignation three months back, Inox COO Alok Tandon has been looking after the marketing operations.
