MUMBAI: Sony Pictures will be releasing The Condemned on home video in India.
The movie is set to release pan India in English and Hindi on DVDs and VCDs.
The DVDs and VCDs will be available at stores like Planet M, Music World, Landmark, Timeout etc in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.
The English DVDs will be priced at Rs 499 and VCDs at Rs 299, whereas the Hindi DVDs will be priced at Rs 125 and VCDs at Rs 99.
The Condemned stars Steve Austin as Jack Conrad, a death-row prisoner in a corrupt Central American prison, who is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island to participate in an illegal reality game show. Conrad must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor. With no possible escape – and millions of viewers watching the uncensored violence online – Conrad must use all of his strength to remain the last man standing.
