Splitsville: Hrithik Roshan-Suzanne Khan File Divorce Papers

 Hrithik Roshan Main coverThis is one story without a happy ending. Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne, the golden couple of Bollywood, have filed for divorce! After 17 years of a romantic fairytale, their ideal world came crashing down.

They have two sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan.

It appears that Hrithik is still trying to reconcile but his better half seems disinterested in the patch up.It  was rumoured in 2011 that Hrithik was getting too close to his Kites co-star Barbara Mori. The rumour was later denied by Suzanne whom said, “there is nothing wrong in our marriage.” They even appeared on a popular tv show together to proclaim their undying love for each other.

But things took an ugly turn when recently Suzanne knocked on father-in-law Rakesh Roshan’s door and announced her departure from the Roshan household. Reports say that all was not well between Suzanne and her inlaws but Hrithik was not keen to move out.

Suzanne is currently residing in an apartment in Versova, the rent for which is allegedly being paid for by Hrithik. Hridhaan and Hrehaan are currently staying with their mother, and she will have custody of both boys after the divorce is finalised.

Early on Wednesday morning, Hrithik and Suzanne made their way separately to the Bandra Family court, to file the papers.

Said a senior official, “The paper work was done before the public started trickling in. The divorce should come through in six months. Since it is by mutual consent, no hiccups are expected.”

However, sources have indicated Hrithik is trying hard to woo back his estranged wife. He has allegedly been spotted outside her building, and even had a meeting with her sisters Farah Khan and Simone, whom he tried to convince of the futility of the separation.

It remains to be seen how this tragic tale pans out, and whether Hrithik will succeed in winning back his lady love. We are as optimistic as the couple’s close friend Chunkey Pandey, who said, “I expected them to reconcile. I still do.”
