MUMBAI: Stratacache, a provider of scalable content delivery, digital media and caching solutions, is scheduled to present a seminar at Cinema India Expo 2008 in Mumbai.
The seminar, titled DCP Distribution over Satellite and Terrestrial WAN, will be presented on 6 June.
Stratacache business development manager Ramkumar Ramamurty will lead the seminar. Ramamurty will focus his discussion on how digital cinema packages (DCPs) are reliably and efficiently distributed over different types of networks with guaranteed delivery.
He will also address the necessary tools for end-to-end content integration, provide a thorough assessment of NACK-based MFTP versus FEC (Forward Error Correction), and briefly discuss how the same technology is beneficial for digital signage content distribution to movie theaters.
The Cinema India Expo will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre 5-7 June in Mumbai, India. Now in its eighth successive year, the expo is one of India’s only trade shows and conventions for the motion picture industry in India.
