MUMBAI: Actor Sushmita Sen will star in the historical film Jhansi Ki Raani, which she plans to launch soon under her own banner.
According to a spokesperson from Sen’s production house, “Sushmita Sen will play the title role herself. She feels no producer or actor will do justice to the role of this historic warrior. We are working on the finer details, to make the film appear natural in all respects.”
Sen, sources say, has other production plans for 2007 too.
