Tips to release two movies next year

MUMBAI: Come 2007 and Tips Films will be releasing two films. While the mahurat shot for the first one titled Race was carried out on 27 October, the shooting of the other film has already begun.

Race will be directed by Abbas Mastan and will star Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat and Katrina Kaif. “The shooting of Race will start in January in Mumbai followed by one schedule in Australia. We plans are to release the film by October/ November next year,” informs Tips Films’ Kumar Taurani.

Abbas Mastan are also directing the otehr untitled suspense thriller for Tips, which will star Akshay Khanna, Bobby Deol and debutant Urvashi who was earlier seen in Mika’s ‘Something Something’ video. The music of this film is by Pritam.

One schedule of this film has already been shot in Mumbai. “The next schedule will be shot in Dubai in November and I plan to release this film by April/ May next year,” adds Taurani.

Tips had earlier produced Fida starring Shahid Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which released in 2004.
