MUMBAI: Excel Home Videos and MGM Home Entertainment has released the Tom Cruise starrer Valkyrie on DVD.
Valkyrie chronicles one of the most heroic but least known episodes of WWII, the July 20 Plot on Hitler’s life. It has been directed by Bryan Singer. Cruise stars as the loyal war hero Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, the mastermind behind the daring and ingenious plot to kill Hitler and overthrow his fascist regime. Valkyrie also stars Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson and Terence Stamp, as well as Bill Nighy and Eddie Izzard.
DVD bonus features include – Commentary by Tom Cruise, Bryan Singer and Christopher McQuarrie – The Journey to Valkyrie – The Valkyrie Legacy. The DVD and Blu-Ray are priced at Rs 399 and Rs 1,199 respectively.
