MUMBAI: Toonz Animation, has inked a strategic alliance with Tata Consultancy’s CMC Limited to provide training in the field of animation, digital arts and multimedia via CMC’s network of training centers in East and South India.
CMC Ltd SBU head – education and training Rajendra Prasad and Toonz Academy president N Radhakrishnan Nair signed the agreement.
With this tie up, CMC education centers will now offer various career oriented industry relevant diploma and short term courses in animation and multimedia designed and developed by Toonz. CMC is expected to start these courses immediately in 15 of its centers and later covering all CMC centers, in the East and South of India. Students completing the courses will find job opportunities in the emerging animation industry and film, television, multimedia, web, graphics and digital arts industries.
"We are excited about the possibility of entering the booming animation and digital arts education segment. The tie up with Toonz will give us the head start," said Prasad.
Nair added, "This tie up brings together two pioneers in their respective segments; a synergy which will help both organizations to leverage each other’s strengths and offer the best quality education to the student community across India."
