MUMBAI: UTV Global Broadcasting (UGBL), the broadcast arm of the UTV group, has bagged three golds at the Promax BDA awards.
The three-month-old World Movies channel has bagged a gold in ‘Best Movie Promo’ category for the French film 13 TZAMETI and Bindass bagged 2 golds for best launch campaign for the show 3rd Degree and Bindass Brand Identity.
UTV Global Broadcasting executive director Shantonu Aditya says, "It always feels nice to be appreciated for your work and creativity and winning awards gives a great impetus to the business. We are greatly pleased that our channels and the attempts to promote our brand have been recognized and appreciated considering the fact that all of this took a lot of effort and ideation. We hope to keep up and do ever better in future."
Best Launch Campaign was created by the in-house Bindass creative services team, for the show Ugesh Sarkar’s 3rd Degree. The idea behind the promo campaign is to project Ugesh Sarkar, India’s first street magician as a mystical person who can defy science. Bindass Brand Identity created by the in house creative services team focused on connecting with Young India through. The ‘Dot’ on the screen and a constant connection with people touching the ‘Dot’ on the screen is what Bindass is all about.
World Movies won the gold for the Best Movie campaign beating stalwarts for the French film 13 TZAMETI, was worked on by the in-house creative team.
Also the Bindass website won for the ‘Best Website Design’ at the prestigious American Communicator award under the television category.
