Mumbai: For the fifth week running, 9X has consolidated its position at number three and has significantly grown despite the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) series. Per TAM data for Week 21/2008, 9X has hit its first century in the C&S 4+ yrs segment by acquiring a massive 103 GRPs across Hindi Speaking Markets.
INX Media founder and CEO Indrani Mukerjea said, "Before IPL, in week 15, 9X was at 77 GRPs, and it has grown steadily during the IPL because we are not dependent on just four hours prime time programming, but have consistent quality throughout the day. 9X has been planned as an ‘all-time prime-time’ channel, and that is what has helped us to grow slowly but surely."
