UTV World Movies, Alliance Francaises rolls Childrens’ Film Fest

MUMBAI: UTV World Movies launched a film festival, that will showcase movies for kids. The channel is presenting a international feature films with a special Childrens’ Film Festival along with Alliance Francoise.

The 10 day long festival is organised in Mumbai and Chennai at the Alliance Française from 3 – 13 March.

The screening will showcase Bach and Brocolli, Tadpole and the Whale, The Clean Machine and Hidden Fortress.

UTV World Movies business head Sameer Ganapathy said, “Children, today, are extremely drawn to movies. Understanding that it is easier to mould their minds at a young age, we have taken up the responsibility to ensure that they are exposed to the right films. The movies chosen for the Children’s Film Festival, along with offering quality entertainment, will help the kids develop a deep sense of appreciation for great film making. Adding on, the films will also enhance their movie watching experience and generate an understanding for world cinema.”
