This is just the beginning, and we promise to entertain our viewers with screenings of contemporary award-winning box hits from around the world in your city."
The Three Colours trilogy is Kieslowski’s best-known work. It is inspired by France’s national motto – Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity – and also represents the three colours of the French Flag. Three Colours: Blue was nominated for three Golden Globes and bagged another 13 awards and seven nominations. Three Colours: White earned Kieslowski the Best Director prize in Berlin, 1994. Three Colours: Red was a proud nominee of two Oscars in 1994 and for the Golden Palm at Cannes the same year. The movie has another 11 awards and 14 nominations to its credit.
