MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures’ Mumbai Meri Jaan is all set to release on 22 August. The film is based on real life disruptive event of the Mumbai serial train blasts. The film is directed by Nishikant Kamat (Dombivli Fast).
The film stars R Madhavan, Soha Ali Khan, Irrfan Khan, K.K. Menon and Paresh Rawal.
Mumbai Meri Jaan explores the impact of the train blasts on the lives of the people of Mumbai. From a feisty reporter to a patriotic corporate man; from a retiring policeman to a rookie cop; from an unemployed youth to a coffee-vendor: Mumbai Meri Jaan follows the lives of people from all strata of Mumbai’s bustling society as they tackle the after-effects of a fatal incident that brings out the best and sometimes worst in them.
