MUMBAI: The stalemate between producers and multiplexes that has led to no new movie being released in multiplexes for the last 45 days has not deterred Vashu Bhagnani from going all out to promote his son’s debut movie – Kal Kissne Dekha.
In a first of its kind on-ground promotional activity, the cast and crew of the movie along with music directors Sajid – Wajid are on a six city music tour in India.
The tour began with Indore on 19 May wherein actress Lara Dutta joined debutants Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai on stage. Today (21 May) the cast and crew has now moved to Ahmedabad where Kareena Kapoor will join Jackky on stage.
The tour has been organized to get the audience familiar with the newcomers. Also performing on stage will be Sajid – Wajid and Sunidhi Chauhan. After Ahmedabad, the show will be held in Delhi.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com Sajjid said, "We are yet to confirm the other cities that we will be touring. The response that we got in Ahmedabad has been overwhelming and we are now looking forward to performing in Delhi and other cities."
At the time of filing this story Vashu Bhagnani was unavailable for comment.
The movie has been directed by Vivek Sharma and is slated to hit single screen theatres next week (29 May). Kal Kissne Dekha is co-produced by BIG Pictures.
