London: Vipul Shah’s Namaste London,made at budget of Rs. 250 million (Rs. 25 crore) with cinematography by the famous Peter Fields (Da Vinci Code) has been dogged by rumours that following the discovery of explosives at airports in London, the shooting schedule at London has been cancelled due to security problems.
As a result the dates of the stars like Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Upen Patel, Rishi Kapoor and Jawed Sheikh ( Pakistan) have been wasted and the film that had the city as its backdrop will now be shot in India.
When contacted, Vipul Shah clarified that he was “very much in London and shooting for my movie Namaste London. Akshay has just finished his stint and all the remaining artists are present in London. I am completing the London schedule by the 25 th of this month. The next spell will be in September.”
