Mumbai: Producer Mukesh Bhatt’s son Vishesh Bhatt has revealed to businessofcinema.com his plans to turn director next year. He is currently the CEO for Vishesh films and is co-producing their films.
“Since I was 7-8 years old, I have always been keen on the creative side. I never wanted to pursue acting even though the money was good. I started out by assisting Vikram Bhatt, during Raaz. Today if you look around you will notice, even directors are getting their fair share of limelight.”
So does he have the inspirational thought for his script? “No. Not yet. I don’t even have an idea till now. I will be writing sometime by next year.” So will he also be producing films for Vishesh Films? “Yes eventually I want to produce films. But before that I want to direct. Bhatt Saab had told me once when I was 18 -19, ‘don’t even think of getting into media, it’s not easy to make ideas. Anyway people under 25 are brain dead. So take your time and let life change you’.”
