Vision Enterprise forays into film production

MUMBAI: In-film advertising company Vision Enterprise is foraying into film and TV software productions business under the banner of Bollywood PR Productions.


 


Vision Enterprise has been in the business of in-film and brand placements for more than a decade now and has worked with leading production houses of the country like Rajshri, Rakesh Roshan, Mukta Arts and Maruti International. The corporate clients of the company include Cadbury, Avon Cycles, DS Group, Onida, Archies, Reebok, Hero Honda and Nokia among others.


 


The objective to venture into film and TV productions business is to consolidate its position in all media related businesses. The company also has a division for celebrity management services. Apart from film productions, company is also looking at other avenues of entertainment sector for expansion.


 


Bollywood PR Productions plans to produce three Hindi films in 2008 and is in talks with directors for the same. The company has signed a debutant Akhil Rajendra for its first production and script and other things are being finalized.


 


The first production will go on floors in February 2008 and will be released in June. The first production title along with the star cast will be announced in January 2008.


 

Vision Enterprise and Bollywood PR Productions head Sonu Tyagi says, “We have already created a niche in in-film advertising and marketing business and it was a right time for us to expand in other things like productions and marketing of content. Hindi film industry is going through a very good phase and we wanted to be a part of it for a long time now.”
