MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s twin acts ranged from being audacious to seriously funny as they hosted the Filmfare Awards last year. However, King Khan has declined to be part of this year’s proceedings.
According to a close friend of Khan, "The lines are written by a script writer; he just goes and gives it his touch. And then the following morning SRK has to apologize to all his friends from the industry for all the wise cracks. So this year I think he is planning to give it a miss."
All the actors in the film fraternity were subject to some ribbing during the course of the ceremony. Vivek Oberoi, Govinda, Hrithik Roshan, the Bachchans and many more, were all dealt with some home truths.
