Mumbai: Yash Chopra, the chairman and founder of Yash Raj Films, was honoured at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards on 11 November at the Goldcoast, Australia.
Chopra was awarded the International Federation of Film Producers Associations Award for outstanding achievement in film in the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier this year, Chopra was bestowed with France’s highest civilian award, the Officier de la Legion d’ Honneur (Officer of the Legion of Honor).
Closer home, Chopra has won the National Award six times, the Filmfare Award eight times apart from a host of other awards and honors.
