Mumbai: On the occassion of Diwali, Zee Cinema has introduced Malamaal Diwali, a unique card quiz, designed specially for the festive season for its viewers.
Zee Cinema business head Mohan Gopinath said, "While most of the organizations provide incentives to their employees in the form of cash /gifts during Diwali as a display of gratitude towards their efforts, commitment and dedication, we thought that our viewers also deserve a similar kind of gratification for patronizing Zee Cinema. The card parties that have been passed through our generations have been our inspiration for Malamaal Diwali."
The game would entail answering questions based on the movie being telecast. Four cards will be displayed on the television screen, each one with the pictures of actors from the movie. Viewers would have to identify the star cast of the movie and choose the odd one out. Viewers sending the maximum number of correct SMS would be declared winners in the subsequent week/the same day. Besides cash prize of Rs 25,000 per day, a mega prize of Rs 100,000 would be given for a maximum number of correct SMS.
Zee Cinema will telecast movies like Mr. India, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Garam Masala and many more during the festival.
