Zee Muzic’s new comedy series with Menon

MUMBAI: Zee Muzic will be unveiling a new season of the comedy series Bol Bachan, featuring Suresh Menon that will air every Friday to Sunday during primetime.

Premiering on 15 February at 7:30 pm on ETC and 8 pm on Zee Muzic, the show has all the ingredients to spice up the viewer’s Friday evening with spoofs, skits and Bollywood take-offs.

Speaking on the brand new season of the show, Zee Muzic business head Irshwin Balwani said, “Suresh Menon is the King of comedy. He lends a vibrant personality to Bol Bachan, a show aimed at tickling the funny bone of the audience through rip-offs and potshots at Bollywood. We are certain this show will strike an instant chord with the viewers.”

From the 1930s to the here and now, Bollywood has celebrated many a superstar, their trademark dance moves, mannerisms and ardently followed style statements. Bol Bachan promises to bring alive the magic of Bollywood by taking a humorous look at everything that Bollywood stands for.

Tongue-in-cheek as ever, Menon will be seen making good-natured digs at the hilarious clichés of Bollywood on this show. Menon was last in the news for having bagged a plum role in Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4. Known for his knack of donning amusing filmy avatars, Menon will continue to do what he’s best at.

The first episode of Bol Bachan sees him doing a spoof on the hysterical maa’s of Bollywood.
