Zoom to launch seven new Bollywood based shows

MUMBAI: Come September, Zoom will be launching seven new Bollywood based shows.

The programming line-up comprises new formats, anchors, breaking news and gossip, biographies and everything from the ‘reel’ to ‘real’ world of Bollywood.

Zoom will launch its first reality show called Idea Bollywood Club, which will depict real stories of strugglers. It reveals all that happens behind the scenes – the frustration, grit and above all, the desire to make it big. It will feature a variety of acts, stories and celebrities

There are other new shows on air from September, starting with Bollywood Files, a 10-part investigative series. There’s also a wild and wacky countdown show called Zabar10; Planet Bollywood, which covers everything about the stars and their lives off screen; and Bollywood 2008, which lets you discover what the planets have in store for your favourite stars. Additionally a show called Life and Times will also be rollled out along with a new season of Let’s Talk.

With this new programming line up, Zoom gets sharper. Idea Bollywood Club aims to nurture the talent India possesses and provide a stepping stone to stardom. Our shows will bring Bollywood even closer to viewers’ homes."

Zoom’s programming revamp began with the launch of three new shows in August. Eight-part special series The Rise and Rise of Shah Rukh Khan, The Rakhi Sawant Showz and Inside Bollywood with Rohit Roy.
