ABCD 2 lead actor Varun Dhawan and director Remo D’Souza attended the song launch of their latest track from the film. Sequel to the original film Any Body Can Dance, ABCD 2 will hit theaters on June 19.

Actor Varun Dhawan got very emotional at the launch event and expressed that he has dedicated the track to his mother Karuna Dhawan. The melodious song is bound to touch everyone’s heart.
Director Remo D’Souza has very beautifully shown the bond between a mother and son through the song Chunar. The track takes us through the journey of Varun‘s character from the film, Suresh and his mother who is a trained classical dancer.
During the song launch Varun Dhawan revealed the journey behind the making of the track. Director Remo along with choreographer Puneet trained Varun to give a graceful performance.
The video of Chunar clearly shows how hard Varun Dhawan has worked to execute it. Not just the track but Varun‘s dedication throughout the film’s shoot as well as promotion deserves a round of applause in itself.
Remo D’Souza wanted Varun to avoid lip syncing and just break free for Chunar’s video. Following the director’s lead, actor Varun engrossed himself into the music and delivered every step with utmost expressions.
During the song launch director Remo D’Souza stated that according to him no actor could have played the role of Suresh as well as Varun Dhawan did. He further stated that as an actor, a dancer and a person, he has never met a better person than Varun.
The stimulating dance film is based on the true-life story of four boys – Rohit, Pavan, Suresh and Vernon – who are part of a dance institute named Fictitious Dance Academy. Varun will be seen as a waiter, while Shraddha Kapoor will play a hairdresser.
ABCD 2 is India’s first dance based 3D film. Siddharth Roy Kapur and UTV Motion Pictures have produced it together. Get ready to shake your legs; ABCD 2 is set to release on June 19, 2015.
Music of the film has been given by duo Sachin-Jigar. ABCD 2 also has a special appearance by Tollywood star Allu Arjun who is again known for his exquisite dancing skills.
