Shekhar Suman, whom we still remember as the Movers and Shakers man is all set to turn director with his film Heartless.

Shekhar is making his debut with a film that is a romantic medical thriller and stars his son Adhyayan Suman and himself. The digital first look of the film was unveiled recently to an overwhelming response. The USP of the poster is that instead of featuring the actors in the film, the poster displays a scalpel cutting through a heart-shaped rose petal with a line below it that says ‘you can hurt a heart only till it loves you’.

Shekhar is not only directing and producing the film but is also producing the film under his banner – Windmill Entertainment.

Heartless brings together the father – son duo Shekhar and Adhyayan Suman for the first time on the silver screen. Apart from the two Sumans, the film introduces a new girl Ariana Ayam and supported by Deepti Naval, Om Puri and Madan Jain.

Shekhar has done films like Utsav, Tridev and Pati Parmeshwar, whereas his son Adhyayan made his acting debut with Haal–e–Dil and then went on to be a part of projects like Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Jashnn and Himmatwala.

Non of the films except Raaz – The Mystery Continues did well at the Box Office. Well, lets see if this father–son combination can create some magic!

Heartless is slated to release on 07 February, 2014.
