MUMBAI: The melting-pot of Bollywood stars – the IIFA Awards – takes place this weekend at Macau. Many stars were seen at the airport taking off for their weekend destination.
The airport was choc-a-bloc with celebrities (and their bodyguards). While these stars walked to the entrance of the airport, fans tried to hound them.
The actors seen at the airport were Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Resul Pookutty and Sushant Singh Rajput among others.
While Shah Rukh Khan was in the casual white-blue combination with a shoulder sling as his fracture hadn’t fully healed, Katrina Kaif went the opposite way with a full black outfit with a tinge of orange. Madhuri Dixit-Nene looked like Katrina Kaif’s sister as she too wore black with an orange jacket.
Deepika Padukone was in a designer top and jeans and wore glasses that reminded everyone of her role in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. She also smiled for the cameras, and so did Sushant Singh Rajput and Resul Pookutty, with the latter even posing for photos.
The 14th IIFA Awards takes place in Macau on 6 July, 2013.
